Group buying is a new business model introduced by CROV, an activity in which buyers of CROV (buyer of group buying, namely “you”), through CROV, meet the requirements for a successful group buying order with other buyers in the group buying order initiated by a particular buyer, and buy commodities at relatively lower prices.
Before participating in a group buying, please fully read, understand and accept all the content of this agreement. Participating in group buying means you accept all terms and conditions of this agreement. CROV is entitled to alter certain clauses of this agreement in accordance with the needs of its business, and publish the alteration on the website of CROV in the form of announcement. You are considered to accept the agreement after alteration if you continue to participate in group buying orders. Where you don’t accept the altered agreement, you should end participating in the group buying.
Definitions and Interpretation
Unless where the text of the agreement expressly states otherwise, the definitions of the following terms are as follows in this agreement:
Group buying period: period between the starting time and ending time stipulated by a group buying initiator for the item(s) to be bought by a group.
Minimum quantity requirement: the minimum quantity a commodity reaches when the group buying period expires.
Maximum quantity limit: the maximum quantity for a particular commodity in a group buying order, which, once reached, means the success of the group buying order and the commodity may not be bought any further.
Failure of group buying: means group buying has one of the following circumstances:
The minimum group buying size is not reached when a group buying period expires.
The initiator terminates the group buying due to factors such as capability limitations, market risks, or legal risks.
The initiator expressly states that the commodity (commodities) cannot be delivered due to factors such as capability limitations, market risks, or legal risks.
Other circumstances CROV considers failure of group buying.
Success of group buying: the minimum group buying size is reached and the group buying period expires.
Rights and Obligations of Buyers of Group Buying
In case of failure of group buying offers, CROV will refund immediately, normally within 5-10 working days.
In case of success of group buying, the buyers are entitled to require the initiator to perform his commitments within the time limit he promised. CROV shall supervise.
After successfully paying for a group buying order, unless they have the consent of the initiator, the buyers may not cancel the order with no reason.
Group-bought commodities may be returned due to quality problems, but replacement is not accepted.
Any disputes arising from group buying shall be properly handled by the initiator, who should make all efforts, with the buyers after friendly negotiation.
Items for group buying may not have been manufactured or purchased, so read the detailed information about the product first and make decisions for group buying based on your now judgments.
Group buying order might not be achieved due to factors such as lack of experience, market risks, or legal risks.
Group buying may end in advance in accordance with the actual situation.
Because commodities for group buying may not be spot goods, the initiator may not be able to deliver the commodities, despite the fact that CROV have examined and reviewed the qualifications of the initiator and the standards for the commodities and required the initiator to make a promise before these commodities are online. Once this happens, CROV will take action immediately and refund the payments, without any liability whatsoever.
For rules of group buying, please refer to the group buying webpage for it. Group buying buyers accepting this agreement or using services under this agreement means they have read and understand these rules and are willing to abide by these rules.
